Broad Wood is an ode to the human feelings of warmth, compassion, sadness, love and everything in between... Nostalgia for the romantics..

It was recorded on Tony Banks (Genesis) old Steinway Grand piano and a 100 year old upright piano, with the Prague Strings recorded in Prague, Czech, in Feb 2020, and a feedback double bass instrument.

"String orchestra recording included a wicked weekend trip to beautiful Prague, (apart from an allergic reaction to something ...the Trdelnik?…. eyes were streaming at the Prague Philharmonic playing Steve Reich...)"

Tim Lea Young is a former synth player on some UNKLE records, (Heaven, Where did the night fall) Scottish born & raised, now currently working out of a studio just a stones throw from sunny Hove beach on the south coast UK.
